My Tarot Background

(Tarot is a form of divination, a word relating to the word divine. This photo was from a night club I read in a few years back which always makes me chuckle even if I don't agree with the sentiment on that sign behind me, ha!)

I've been studying and reading Tarot since the late 90's and performed my first professional readings in 2004. For many years following on from this I would read professionally for a small handful of clients each year. It was in 2016, following a set of "obstacles" in my path that I was actually led into becoming a full time professional reader and I have been doing this work ever since. I read Tarot daily through one of the major psychic hotlines and also read for personal clients who come to me outside of this context. I have given readings in person (I have worked in the past in Afflecks Palace in Manchester, UK and have also given readings in nightclub events and Manchester Town Hall during the Christmas period). Currently I only give readings online. The vast majority of these I do in my own time and email my client a voice recording of the reading that they can download for themselves. I can also read live online via Zoom if you prefer.

My Approach to Tarot Reading

There are many readers out there in the world, so when looking for a Tarot reading from someone it can be helpful to do a little research first to see if the person you are going to is a good fit for you. I have provided testimonials from some of my clients here. Every reader has their own unique style and approach. Some key facts about my methods and perspectives are as follows:

Firstly, for legal reasons it is important for me to declare that my readings are for entertainment purposes only. To guarantee that any prediction I make or any information that comes out of my readings is 100% truthful, accurate and something to base your life decisions on would actually be breaking the law in my country.

Tarot is a helpful, deep and insightful tool that can be used for many things; learning about yourself, exploring different options in your life around directions you may want to go in, uncovering information around the past, present and future.

I believe getting a Tarot reading should be an empowering act. I do not word questions along the lines of "Should I do XYZ?" or "Should I not do XYZ?" because this takes power away from the client and hands it over to the cards. Instead I prefer to use Tarot to explore different options you may be considering and from there, you can see how the findings align with your own feelings and perceptions.

Tarot can be wonderful at confirming our feelings on a situation, helping us to gain more understanding and insight on something and also providing us with additional and alternative angles to look at our lives.

As a reader, I strive to be well balanced in my approach, combining my personal interpretations of the cards in a reading with my own intuitions and any psychic insights I receive.

Many Tarot readings do not have to be about making predictions about the future at all, but when it does come to that, I work on the understanding that the cards will show us the most likely development for the path we are currently on. This means that if we don't like what we see, we have been given a heads up. To be forewarned is to be forearmed as the old saying goes. If we don't like what we see, it means it is time for us to consider a different course of action for ourselves in order to avoid that prediction becoming a reality.

When it comes to reading into the future, I project no further than one year ahead as I feel anything longer than that is not helpful as so many other developments can happen in such a broad period of time. When I look generally to the future it is usually around the two to three month period that I see, but timing in Tarot is not an exact science and it really depends on the question being asked.

I do not read on health matters.

I have the most experience (as most readers do) with giving readings on relationships and career. I am happy to read on any subject other than health.

I do give readings looking for advice and guidance on spiritual topics for any clients who have a practice of their own and are in need of some inspiration.

I offer no guarantees with my readings. I will speak in terms of whether I think there seems to be a strong chance of something happening or a less than likely chance of something happening. Regular clients of mine will notice that I avoid using the word "definitely" when giving any predictions.

I can promise you that I will give your reading my full attention and always strive to do my best. In the years I have been reading professionally I have now given several thousand readings for people in many different parts of the world. I have multiple regular clients who have consistently come back to me to tell me that my findings matched up with their experiences, that predictions came to pass and that my readings have been helpful to them in numerous ways. In other words, I've had enough of a good track record for people to find my readings helpful. I am not infallible, however and no reader (or member of any other profession) is.

A good Tarot reading can provide peace of mind, a sense of clarity, a greater understanding of your current life circumstances, and help in making decisions and choices.

I will never tell you, the client, what you should or should not do.

It is very important for me to approach my clients with respect and compassion for whatever they are going through. I conduct my speech with great care, I value clear communication and I am not blunt or abrasive in how I speak to my clients.

I am not a medium and do not provide mediumship services. If you are looking to make contact with the spirit of a deceased person, I am not your reader unfortunately, but if you are on the lookout feel free to reach out as I may be able to recommend others who could be good for you.

Booking a Reading With Me

To book a reading with me, simply email me and let me know how long you would like to book for, and whether you would like a voice recording reading or a Zoom reading. Most readings I give are either 30 minutes (in which I cover two to three questions) or an hour (in which I cover four to six questions). I also do one question readings which are done in approximately 15 minutes. I charge £10 GBP for one question, £20 GBP for a half hour reading and £35 GBP for an hour reading. I can do more than one hour if you have more questions.

I will always confirm with you via email how the questions will be worded. It is very common that I may feel the need to tweak the questions a little as I find how the question is worded can be very important to how the reading will go and how helpful it can be. Be aware that when you book a reading with me there will usually be a couple of emails between us just to figure out the questions.

If you want to book a reading over Zoom, discussion around questions is not necessary as we can do that live during the session and I will not charge you any extra for the additional time it takes to decide the questions as this can be done very quickly when we are speaking one on one.

If you book an email reading with me, once the questions have been decided, you will receive your reading within the time frame I tell you I can make (which is usually within no more than 48 hours). You will receive a link to a voice recording for you to download. It is important to let me know once you have downloaded the recording as I periodically have to delete voice recordings from the platform that I use, so I need to make sure you have your copy before I remove it. If you have opted for them, you will also receive an email with the photographs of each of your readings.

What My Readings Look Like

In addition to Tarot, I also work with a variety of oracle decks, sometimes using my own Oracle of the Witch Current. Tarot forms the main body of the reading, but I will also additionally pull a few oracle cards for each question too. I work with oracle cards because I appreciate the extra insights they can give and find they can often confirm and further boost some of the messages I have picked up through the Tarot.
